Wendy McDonald

Wendy McDonald of Belmont October 23, 1941- April 23, 2026. Daughter of the late Olga McDonald (née Zabawa) and Wallace McDonald. Beloved mother of Veronika McDonald King and her husband Geoffrey White of Arlington, MA. Loving grandmother of Cowen McDonald King and Apolonia White of Arlington, MA. Sister of Cameron McDonald of Floral Park, NY, and William McDonald and his wife Elise McDonald of Wrentham, MA. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Wendy grew up in Watertown and lived in Cambridge, Newton, and Belmont. She spent most of her life in Belmont, where she raised her daughter. Her final years were spent joyfully in Cambridge at The Cambridge Homes. Wendy received her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.

A visitation will be held at the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont, on Thursday, April 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will follow at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
