Vincent Manfredi of Lexington passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20th. Vinny was born in Belmont to the late Carmela (Gangi) and Antonio Manfredi. Vinny was the 9th of 11 children.
One summer night he met his wife Barbara, the love of his life. They were high school sweethearts marrying in 1967. Soon after their first child was born and they moved to Lexington. They moved to a neighborhood that was fun. People looked after each other. Vinny loved to go fishing and boating with neighbor friends. He loved to dress up on Halloween and have water fights in the summer. Football games in the fall.
Vinny worked very hard over the years. He loved nature and all of its blessings. He knew the names of all trees, flowers and shrubs but what he loved the most was his garden. Especially his tomatoes. Vinny loved to sit with his kids, eating them on the patio with a little salt.
In the end Vinny had some challenging health issues but he faced them with strength and courage. Vinny and Barbara had 58 years together full of love and laughter.
