Theresa A. Egan

Theresa A. Egan of Cotuit May 18, 2024. Youngest daughter of the late Michael J. and Grace F. Egan of Belmont. Sister of Michael J. Egan, Jr of Belmont, Kathleen Egan of Marshfield and late Ann Egan of Marshfield  

Following graduation from Belmont High School Theresa moved to Manhattan Beach California where she lived and worked for several years . Upon her return to the East Coast she lived in Quincy  and Milton Massachusetts respectively until she moved to Germany for 2 years and then London England for 2 years where she was employed by the Gillette company. Living abroad gave Theresa the opportunity to travel and experience new and very different places. Even upon returning to the United States she continued to travel the world to such places as Dubai , China and the Galapagos Islands to name only a few. In retirement Theresa chose to settle down in Cotuit on Cape Cod where she immersed herself in the community by joining many organizations  such as The Historical Society, the Garden Club , Calmer Choice ,and The Cape Cod Symphony.

No matter where she chose to live or travel she made new and enduring  friendships which she cherished dearly. Theresa will be missed by many many people.

 Burial Services for Theresa will be held at Belmont Cemetery (Grove Street) on Monday June 10th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
