Suzanne Lazure Washburn

Suzanne Lazure Washburn of Concord, formerly of East Millinocket, Maine and Belmont, Massachusetts, died peacefully at home of natural causes on August 1st 2022. Beloved wife of the late Stephen L. Washburn, and beloved mother of late son James, survived by daughters Lisa Washburn, Sara Washburn Jorgensen and husband Michael Levy, and granddaughters Jessica Zaval and husband Peter, Betsy Jorgensen and husband Brendan Forbes, great grandsons Benjamin, Elliott, and Malachy Zaval, great granddaughter Saoirse Forbes and many nephews and nieces. Graduate of Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine, Burdett College, Boston, Massachusetts. Advertising agency secretary and employed by Standard Oil of New York City and New Jersey. Married for 64 years to Dr. Stephen L. Washburn. Watercolor painter and artist with continual artistic interests at home. She was an avid gardener, reader, lover of nature and birds, party host, and especially loved spending time at her cottage in Maine. 

Funeral service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street, Concord, Massachusetts, Friday Sept. 23rd at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited.
