Susan Gail Cleary

Susan Gail Cleary (nee Fortier) of Portsmouth Rhode Island, Cambridge Massachusetts, St. John United States Virgin Islands and Arlington Massachusetts, died on April 11th, 2025. Daughter of the late Alfred G. and Gladys June (Dean) Fortier of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Graduate of Harvard College and of Churchill College University of Cambridge. Beloved wife of William James Cleary. Loving mother of Florine Cleary Braunstein and her husband Mauro Braunstein of Arlington Massachusetts, Katherine Cleary and her husband Peter Hobson of Santa Cruz California. Sister of Karen Fortier Tung and sister-in-law of James Tung of Little Compton Rhode Island. Devoted grandmother of Sarah Braunstein and Joseph Braunstein.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church located at Bow and Arrow Streets (Harvard Square) Cambridge, on Saturday, May 3rd, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge Massachusetts.
