Sharon E. Murphy January 29, 1950-January 23, 2025

Sharon E. Murphy 74 passed away peacefully on January 23 rd at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Sharon was born on January 29, 1950 one of four children born to the late Francis and Catherine Murphy. She was a graduate of Belmont High School and received her teaching degree from Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts. She spent time as a teacher and many years as the office manager for Russ Khederian CPA.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents Francis and Catherine and her brothers Richard and Robert. She is survived by her daughter Kerry Anciello and her husband Michael and her grandsons Nicholas and Michael. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Gibbs and her husband Charlie and her nieces and nephews Megan, Brendan and his wife Kaitlin, Lindsay and a great nephew Cameron. She also leaves her cousin Kevin Murphy and her aunt Ann Regan and many other extended family.

Sharon enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. She frequently had family and friends stop by or calling to share a cup of tea or just talk about the day. She loved having conversations with her close friends Jean, Linda, David and her old boss and close friend Russ Khederian, Sharon enjoyed shopping and her shoe collection. Most of all Sharon looked forward to her daily conversation with her beloved daughter Kerry. Sharon and Kerry enjoyed discussing the Jenny Boston video of the day. Sharon’s family would like to thank the staff at Dana Farber and Brigham and Woman’s who provided caring and compassionate care.

Calling hours will be Friday February 7 th from 5-7pm at Brown and Hickey Funeral Home at 36 Trapelo Rd , Belmont, Ma 02478. The Burial will be private at the family’s convenience.
