Sarah A. (Thibault) Blood of Lexington and Manomet, formerly of Cambridge, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on December 17th, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Blood Jr. Loving mother of Richard J. Blood III of Pomeroy OH, Robert J. Blood and Betty Titchen- Blood of Lexington MA, Ronald J. Blood and Jill Hall of Marlborough MA, and Roberta J.Brown of Burlington MA. Devoted grandmother of Chelsea E. Blood- Nobrega and Christoper Nobrega of Smithfield RI, Taylor A. Blood and Marley Blood of West Chester PA, Bridgett A. Brown of Burlington MA and Jesse Fair of Marlborough MA. Great Grandmother of Max Horgan of Marlborough MA. Sister of the late Joseph A. Thibault, L. John Thibault, Margret “ Peg” Callahan, Teresa F. Rioux, and Daniel M. Thibault. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont, Friday morning December 22nd at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter’s Church 100 Concord Ave., Cambridge, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House 320 Haverhill Street, Reading MA, 01867.
