Robert R. McMurray

Robert R. "Bob" McMurray, of Belmont, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 20th, 2026. Beloved husband of 59 years of Sandra A. (Ledgerwood) McMurray. Loving father of Deb McMurray of Arlington, Rob McMurray of Lexington, Sue Dunlap and her husband Jim of North Easton, Jen Corrigan and her husband Steve of Mansfield & Steve McMurray and his wife Anne of Westwood. Cherished grandfather of Matt, Liam, and Patrick Dunlap, Aidan, Steve, and Kellan Corrigan, Catherine McMurray. Bob was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was an electrician for 30 years at Brandeis University. He was a Eucaristic minister for many years and was a member of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Bob was a friend to all and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. 

Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, on Friday, June 26th, at 9:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Camillus Church, 1185 Concord Tpke, Arlington, at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment to follow in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont. Late U.S Coast Guard Veteran. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the caretakers at Neville Center for the kindness, support, and care shown to Bob and his family during his time there.
