Rita (McIsaac) Harkin

Rita (McIsaac) Harkin  of Cambridge, died peacefully surrounded by her family on November 15, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late James.  Loving mother of James and his wife Linda of CT, Ann Marie Ryan and her husband Philip of Quincy, Eileen Huhmann and her husband Dale of FL, and her precious daughter Maureen of Quincy. Grandmother of Patrick, Courtney, Jacqueline, Alyssa, James “JJ”, John, Michael, Brianna and Meghan. Sister of George McIsaac of PEI, Canada and the late Francis, Joseph, Margaret and Helen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd. Belmont, on Friday from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Church 100 Concord Ave., Cambridge, Saturday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Rita’s emory to “Helping Turn Disabilities to Capabilities", Cambridge Program Friends 1 Hardwick St. Cambridge, MA 02141.
