Phyllis Troiano, age 94 of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away March 19, 2023, peacefully in her sleep. She was born to Nelson Boliver and Maggie Gow, on May 29, 1928, in Worcester Massachusetts. She is predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Boliver and Barbara Gagnon. Phyllis graduated from North High School in Worcester in 1946.
She married the late Michael Troiano in 1982, and they lived together in Worcester for 35 years. Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband in 2017. She is survived by her former husband Ronald Werme and their children, Scott Werme and his wife Rose O’Hagan, of Sunderland, MA and Christine Paolillo and her husband Mark Paolillo, of Belmont, MA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Brenna Werme, Kevin Werme, Brian Werme, Stephen Paolillo and Sarah Paolillo.
Phyllis worked as the secretary at the Grafton Middle School for many years where she was respected and loved by many students and teachers. She played the piano and the organ spending many hours making music with her family. She loved to bake and gained much pleasure from baking for her grandchildren. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family especially her grandchildren.
Private ceremony will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at the Brown and Hickey Funeral Home, Belmont, Massachusetts.
