Family and friends, we remember the life of Olga Cecilia Headley born on November 17th, 1931, in Lambs River District of Westmoreland Jamaica. Olga was born to Amos and Ann Headley, their pride and joy. Olga grew up to be a strong-willed woman. She had five wonderful children in whom she instilled integrity and honesty. After some years she emigrated to America to make a better life for herself and her children. Olga was a fabulous cook and her love of baking was well known. Her crocheting skills were phenomenal! Sharing and teaching others was her joy. Overall, she was very good with her hands. Throughout the years, she aged gracefully. Olga celebrated her 93rd birthday last year and nothing ever kept her down. She was a strong and brilliant woman. However, in early May, 2025 she suddenly fell ill. On Friday the 16th of May, she passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Olga leaves behind her children Delford Clark who predeceased her, Mabel Hines, Jennipher Burgess, Florence Smith, Robin Petgrave and his wife Myra Petgrave, Bryan Niles and Sandy Francis. Grandhchildren: Jennipher Rava Burgess, Stesha Smart, Michael Burgess, Senai Gebretekle, Robin Petgrave and Neeko Petgrave. Great granddaughter: Indira Smart-Peart and Great-Great Granddaughter Ily Smart-Peart and many nieces and nephews extended family and friends. As we bid farewell to Olga, a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, Aunt and friend, we are reminded of these words in 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith. May her soul rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon her. May she sleep on and take her rest.
