Nicholas Cardinale passed away on November 24, 2024. He was a beloved and cherished member of the Cardinale family. He was predeceased by his parents Claire and Vincent Cardinale and his adoring aunts Mary and Eleanor Cardinale and Rae Davin and Uncle Nicholas Cardinale. He is survived by his father Vinnie’s sister, Carmela Purciello and many cousins of several generations.
Nicky lived his entire life in Belmont with his father and aunts, surrounded by family and love until 2014. He enjoyed being with his raucous family and eating great food with gusto. He loved taking drives, drinking Dunkin coffee, stopping for ice cream, smelling pine sachets and taking walks.
In 2014, he joined the Edinburg Center’s family and lived with four other friends in Bedford for the last ten years. He was especially fond of his friend, Brian, and found love again in the men and women who supported him with such kindness.
Being a man of very few words, he showed his love and kind nature to all who came into his orbit. He made his way through life with two word phrases, simple gestures, kind smiles and a loving heart. He has left all of his bereft cousins and close staff better people for having known him.
We hope Mr. Nicky is telling his story now.
