Michael was a devoted husband, a caring father and adoring Papa to his grand pups, Enzo and Vee. His working career was spent in Belmont, first, as an auto mechanic and then, for the Town of Belmont in the Water Division. He retired as the Water Division Manager in 2018 after 35 years of service. After retirement, he got his dream job working part-time at Pine Meadows Golf Course in Lexington, MA where he also played in a weekly golf league. Michael was a devout Catholic, Eucharistic Minister and was active in the organization of youth ministry activities. When the girls were growing up, he was often found on the sidelines coaching their soccer or softball games, attending their dance recitals or competitions and learning to ski along with them. Summer vacations were spent at Seabrook Beach with family and friends. In retirement, he could be found on the golf course, watching sports or car programs at home, whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, and going on weekend getaways to the White Mountains with Donna. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his close-knit family and many friends. He truly loved life and was loved and respected by all those who knew him. He will be missed tremendously.
