Mary Lavelle MacDonald of Belmont Aug. 20, 2023. Daughter of the late Peter and Kathleen  (Cooney) Lavelle. Beloved wife of Michael MacDonald. Loving mother of Kathleen MacDonald and Lillian "Ace" MacDonald. Step mother of Sarah Ann Carey. Sister of Brian Lavelle, Michael Lavelle and his wife Regina and the late Peter Gerard Lavelle. Also survived by her nieces Caitlyn, Emily and Meagan, her mother-in-law Marie MacDonald, her sister-in-law Julie Matarese and her husband John Matarese. Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Road Belmont on Friday Aug 25 at 9:00 AM. Followed by a funeral mass in St Joseph Church 128 Common Street Belmont at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. Interment Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont.
