Marian M. Gura of Winchester passed away on May 28, 2022. She was the beloved twin sister of Monica Gura, and beloved daughter of Anna Marie (Lucas) and John M Gura. Born on January 31 1933 in Struthers, Ohio, she was one of 14 children. At the age of 13, Marian entered the Daughters of St. Paul convent, where she served for 31 years. After separation from the Daughters of St. Paul, she supported St. Eulalia’s rectory for 20 years. She was a member of St. Eulalia’s church and choir, and active with The Voice of the Papal. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and siblings John Gura, Julia Gura, Helen Johnson, Peter Gura, Emil Gura, Larry Gura, Felicitas (Fel) Luke, Norman Gura and Kathleen Montgomery. She is survived by her sisters Regina Graygo, Ann Marie Fabilli, Monica Gura and brother James Gura, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in St. Eulalia Church 50 Ridge St Winchester, MA on Wednesday June 8th at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Please visit sainteulalia.org to live stream the Funeral Mass. Interment will be held in the family plot at St. John The Baptist Cemetery Campbell, Ohio at a later date.
