Linda (Walsh) Moloney of Chelsea and Walpole passed away on July 4th, 2022, after a long illness. Linda was a teacher for the Boston Public Schools for over 30 years and cherished her role working with some of the city’s most disadvantaged kids. She loved using every opportunity to use her boisterous laugh (it could fill a concert hall), and prior to her illness, spending summers on the Cape in West Yarmouth with family and friends. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Moloney, and raised Kimberly Roberts, Thomas Moloney, Jr., and Hillary Leo to use kindness and respect for others above all else. She is survived by her sister Patricia, her husband Ned, and their five children: Michelle, Karen, Teddy, Jimmy and Elizabeth; her own children Kimberly and her husband Eric, of East Boston, “T.J” and his wife Erin, of White Salmon, WA, and Hillary and her husband Chris, of Potomac, MD; and five grandchildren: Libby, Jane, Jack, Scarlett Linda, and Bernelia. Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont on Friday, July 8th from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.
