Lawrence J. Ferro of West Newton Jan. 29, 2021. Survived by Janice Ferro, daughter Kelly Van Evera and her husband Chad Van Evera of Newton. Granddaughter Madison Drewry and her father Scott Drewry of W. Newton. Sister Linda (Ferro) Carlson and her husband George Carlson of Watertown and Susan Ferro of Machias, Maine. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Brady. Four nieces and nephews; Gregory T. Carlson of Texas, Jennifer M. Carton of Waltham, Stefanie A. Carlson of W. Roxbury and James J Carlson of Norfolk along with several great nieces and nephews.
Larry was a Waltham High School graduate Class of 1968. He worked for the Weston School Dept for over 45 years as a Groundsman and School Bus Driver. He was a longtime resident of W. Newton. Loved by many and known for his work ethic and kind disposition. He was a devoted father and his family and dog Brady were the most important things in his life.
Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd. Belmont Thursday Feb. 4th from 4-6 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. All guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Please enter the front door of the building, pay your respects and exit by the side door.
