John D. John is survived by his two daughters Jennifer Kuhlman and her husband Richard Kuhlman of Bellingham and Linda Moran and her husband Paul Moran of Ashland, four grandchildren Rachel and Christopher Kuhlman and Erika Dunn Moran and Madeline Moran, and his niece Sheryl White.  He was the brother of the late Stephany Dewey.

John deeply loved spending time with his family.  Some of his happiest memories were fishing and boating on Lake Nipmuc in Mendon with family and friends.  He was an avid bird watcher and had a great appreciation of nature.  He loved all animals and was a longtime supporter of the ASPCA.
