John P. Hennessy Jr. of Mansfield passed away on April 27, 2022. Loving father of Amy Hennessy, Kelly Hennessy, Katheleen Hennessy. Loving brother
of James Hennessy and his wife Hazel Hennessy. Grandfather of Amber Hennessy, Travis Hennessy, Jordan O'Connor, Rory Hennessy, Tyler Hennessy, and Jason Riley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph Church 130 Common St Belmont on Monday May 9th at 10:30 AM. A visiting hour will be held in the church prior from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Late U.S Marine Corp Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of John’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans Charity www.dav.org.
