Gloria Josefina Villegas-Cardoza

Gloria Josefina Villegas - Cordoza Of Newton, MA, passed away on March 19, 2023. Born on December 20, 1957, in Caracas, Venezuela, she was the daughter of Gloria and Raimundo Villegas. A biologist who worked as a science and environmental educator, Gloria was the director of education and diversity at the Mass Audubon Society, and previously worked for the Boston Museum of Science. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Gabriela Cardoza-Dalmau; son-in-law Marc Dalmau; grandchildren, Alessia, Brooks and Brewer; by her sister, Eleonora Villegas-Reimers; brother-in-law Fernando Reimers; nephews, Tomas and Pablo Reimers; and by many cousins, their spouses and children.
