Gladys Steinbach, beloved widow of John Steinbach Jr., peacefully passed away on February 6th on February 6th at Artis of Lexington, MA with her family by her side after a fierce battle with Lewy body dementia.
Gladys’ fiery spirit and love for life touched everyone she encountered. She was a devoted mother to her late son, Joey, and to her daughter Cynthia, and a cherished mother-in-law to Paolo. Gladys of Hope, NJ, daughter of Wellington and Nellie Cook, was one of 12 children. She is survived by her siblings, Francis Tillou, Frank (Joe) Cook and Mary Van-Etten.
In honor of her memory, family and friends are invited to visit at Brown and Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont, MA, on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 at 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mass General Hospital Cancer Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
