George F. Cox of Belmont, formerly of Cambridge passed away peacefully on March 8th 2025. Beloved husband of Clare (McDonnell) Cox. Loving father of Matthew Cox of Belmont, Joshua McDonnell & his wife Donna of Fairfield, CT. Cherished grandfather of Cameron and Ryan McDonnell. Brother of Rosemary Dulac & Paul Dulac of Belmont & Margaret Cox. Brother in law of Mary McDonnell, Cecilia McDonnell, Margaret & her husband Robert Davidson. Also loving nephews Bobby & Eric Davidson & Peter & Paul Dulac. Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont, on Friday morning, March 14th, at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Luke’s Church, 132 Lexington St., at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of George.
