Frederick R Murphy Sr of Lexington Sept. 6, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Ritsert) Murphy. Loving father of  Daniel P. Murphy of Lexington, Debra M. Dorr and her husband Timothy of Taunton and Frederick R. Murphy Jr. Cherished grandfather of  Cameron and Nicholas Dorr and Victoria Murphy. Brother of the late. Doris Martel, Evelyn Thompson and Carol Davis. "Fred was owner and operator of Fred's Gulf Station, in  Arlington for many years serving the residents of his community.  Late in his years he was proudly employed as a vocational assistant for the LABBB Collaborative, working and supporting young adults with disabilities learn skills to be actively employed."  Visiting hours in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Road Belmont on Tuesday Sept 12th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St Eulalia Church 50 Ridge Street Winchester on Wednesday Sept 13 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Westview Cemetery Lexington. Late U.S. Marine Corp Veteran, Vietnam.
