Evelyn (Mannion) Doherty

Evelyn (Mannion) Doherty a longtime resident of Cambridge, formerly of County Mayo Ireland, passed away peacefully on May 8th 2024 in the comfort of her own home with her loving family by her side. Former wife of the late John J. Doherty. Loving mother to Thomas Doherty of Cambridge , Susan Doherty of Cambridge, and Coleen Casella and her husband James of Cambridge.  Sister of, Msgr. Joseph Mannion, Irene Day, Jarlath Mannion, Maretta Lavin, Sister Monica Mannion, and the late, Harry Mannion, Margaret Navin, Herbert Mannion, Sean Mannion, Dermot Mannion, Mary Paschal and Thomas Mannion. Further survived by many loving, nieces, nephews and other family members and many friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont, on Friday May 10th, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Church 100 Concord Ave., Cambridge, on Saturday morning May 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge.
