Ellen E. (Kelley) Briggs

Briggs, Ellen E. (Kelley) of Somerville, formerly of Quincy and Cambridge passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late George L. Briggs. Sister of James Kelley of Cambridge, Margaret Pontes of Arlington, Ray and his wife Ruth of Arlington, Christine  and Virginia Kelley of Somerville. Sister of the late Mary Doherty, Francis Kelley and Kathleen Kelley. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Retired from the Middlesex Superior Court in Cambridge.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit in St. Patrick’s Church 212 Main St., Watertown, on Tuesday morning, August 12th, from 9:00- 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown. Donations can be made in Ellen's memory to Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306 Tunnel To Towers
