Eleanor F. “Ellie” (Fitzgerald) Mannke

Eleanor F. (Fitzgerald) Mannke of Arlington, passed away peacefully at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington surrounded by her loving family and lifelong friends on July 28, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Robert Francis Mannke, Mother of Robert Fitzgerald Mannke and his husband Michael P. Trabucco, Kevin J. Mannke all of Arlington and Jeffrey J Colburn, who was thought of as her third son. Sister of Diane M. Hoffman of Long Beach, NY and her husband Robert Hoffman, Julie A. Gaudet of Tewksbury. Aunt to Robyn DiDiego, Mike Mannke, Justin Hoffman and Matthew Hoffman. Dear lifelong friend of Claire Kelly and Franny Murphy and far too many more to list. 

Ellie's biggest love was spending the past 40 summers in York Beach, Maine with all of her friends from the trailer park world at Burnett's Campground. She made amazing friendships throughout her entire career beginning at the New England Telephone Co. then later in life at SMC Hendrick, Temple, Barker & Sloane, Mercer Management Consulting and retiring from Oliver Wyman.  She was also a tremendous animal lover and gave generously to many charities. 
 

Funeral from Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd. Belmont Wednesday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Eulalia Church 50 Ridge St. Winchester at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 pm. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
