Eleanor (Courier) Chenevert

Eleanor Chenevert (Courier) formerly of Belmont, MA and a resident of Acton, MA passed away on September 15th at her home in Acton.   She is survived by her 3 daughters, Laura and husband Scott Segrin, Linda and husband Bill Mills, Lois and husband Andy Cutter, 13 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, her brother Ed Courier, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, her Windsor Ave neighborhood family, Phillips Lighting family and her lifelong friends from Belmont, the Belles.  She was loved by many as the spunky, life of the party with her trademark purple hair.   A lifelong fan of the Red Sox, she enjoyed attending many games at her beloved Fenway Park and telling any Yankees fan where they could go.  

Eleanor was an avid reader and one of the founders of the Windsor Ave Book Club.  She was immensely proud of her family and enjoyed family gatherings.  At her request, there were no services.  Donations can be made in her memory to The Jimmy Fund at www.danafarber.jimmyfund.org.  

Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Eleanor Chenevert on her birthday, Saturday the 17th of June 2023 from 2-6 pm. We will be gathering at the Boxboro Regency in the Atrium. The hotel is located at 242 Adams Place Boxborough, MA 01719. Eleanor was always the “life of the party” and her wishes were for those that loved her to share happy memories in celebration of her life
and how she chose to live it. We would like to welcome everyone that knew her to gather for a final party in her honor. Share a funny or happy story with us and enjoy some appetizers,
