Elaine M. Krant

Elaine M. (Schromm) Krant of Belmont, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 23rd, 2025. Beloved wife of the late John J. Krant. Loving mother of John Krant, his wife Christy, their children Sofia & Will of Melrose, and Kristine (Krant) DeMarco, her husband Rob, their children Bobby, John and Nina of Norwell. Sister of William, Diane, John and the late Ann & Paul. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit in St. Joseph Church 130 Common St., Belmont, on Saturday morning, September 27th, from 9:00 to 10:00 followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Highland Meadow Cemetery, Belmont. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elaine, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
