It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Clifford Lee Harsh on August 26, 2022 at the Brockton VA Hospital. Born on May 18, 1944 to Gladys Covey of Ohio and Clifford Harsh. He was educated and graduated in Marietta Ohio, class of 1962. Clifford or cliff as he was affectionately known, then immediately enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He served loyally from 1962 to 1966 honorably discharged as a sergeant. His time of selfless service found him in the Vietnam War. Where he found him and his unit exposed to Agent Orange and battles that haunted him throughout his life. He recounted the brave actions on many occasions and loved his country and time of service fiercely and with immense pride. Upon his discharge, Cliff was a known mechanic, built motorcycles and had a love and respect for guns and bullets. He lived at one time in Haverhill, MA and eventually relocated to Watertown, MA. He is predeceased by his parents, both his wives Suzann Starr and Lucille Harsh as well as his granddaughter Kiana Sutton Harsh. he is survived by his daughter Tammy Davis and her husband Mike of Lakeworth, Florida, Tabatha Harsh of Stephens City Virginia, his son Clifford L. Harsh III and his wife Angela of Watertown and Jaimelyn Harsh of Watertown. Also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His many friends from the DAV and VA will miss him dearly. Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Road Belmont on Saturday Oct 1st from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited.
