Carol V (Kendall) Long

Carol V. (Kendall) Long, a lifelong Watertown resident, died on May 15, 2026. The daughter of the late Delbert and Erina (Browne) Kendall and beloved wife of the late Jerry R. Long, she was the devoted mother of Richard Long, loving mother-in-law to his wife Janice Long, both of New Hampshire, and dear cousin to Barbara Marquis of Maine. A devoted homemaker, she always showed generosity and kindness to those who came to know her. She found joy in family, friends, nature, beaches, crafts, and the pets that shared her life. Her funeral was held on May 22, with services in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont. Interment followed in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. For those who would like to honor Carol’s memory, the family suggests donations to the animal shelter of your choice.
