Carol A. (Ford ) Donaghy of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2021. Beloved wife of 56 years to the late John G. Donaghy, Sr. Loving mother of Kathleen Canty and her husband Neil of Franklin, Eileen Shea of Cambridge, Diane McMahon and her husband Robert of Melrose, John Donaghy, Jr. and his wife Florencia of Lexington, Nancy Mazzei and her husband Michael of Arlington. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Sister of Barbara McCarron and Patricia Markley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd. Belmont on Friday, April 30 from 4-6pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Facial masks and social distancing are required. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Private Funeral Mass will be held in St. Peter’s Church followed by Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s memory to St. Peter Parish 100 Concord Ave. Cambridge, MA. 02138.
