Barbara A. (Haner) Hudson

Barbara A. (Haner) Hudson, 83, of Belmont and Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Chestnut Hill and Chelmsford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 9, 2023. Beloved wife of Warren Hudson. Loving mother of Heidi & her husband Chris of Westford, Karl & his wife Sheila of Winchester, Kurt & his wife Kristin of Medfield. Grandmother of Kristin, Cameron, Heather, Kelsey, Gavin, & Kyle. Barbara was born in Malden in 1940, graduated from Everett High School and raised a family. She was a Real Estate Appraiser and Treasurer of L.C Anderson HVAC company where she supported her husband after he purchased the company. Music and dancing were her loves and she sang in the church choir at several churches.

Visiting hours will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont, on Monday July 31 from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday August 1 in the Belmont United-Methodist Church 421 Common St., Belmont, at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. At all services, please wear casual clothes and plenty of bright colors as this will be a joyful service. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Woodland Golf Club in Newton, MA. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Barbara’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
