Agnes Mary (Hughes) Rielly July 15, 1926-December 20, 2024.
Agnes M. Rielly died peacefully in her home in Belmont, where she lived for over 70 years, on the morning of December 20, 2024 at the age of 98. She was the beloved and devoted wife of
the late James L. Rielly. A loving mother to 8 sons, 4 who predeceased her, Edward (Lorraine), James, Paul (Donna), and John (Nancy). And 4 surviving sons, Michael (Erica), Thomas
(Suzette), Terence (Christina), and Kevin (Kara). She was also blessed with 12 cherished Grandchildren: Alek, Korynn, Paul, Brendan, Andrea, Kevin, Amanda, Patrick, Erin, Samantha,
Rosaria, and Isabella. As well as 12 Great-Grandchildren: Audrey, Lucy, Jamie, Tara, Rowan, Logan, John, Juniper, Clementine, Callum, Cameron, and Brielle, who she loved. Agnes, born in
Cambridge, MA to Edward A. and Florence R. Hughes (Nixon). She had 11 siblings, who all predeceased her. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
At her request, a private Mass was held at St. Joseph’s Church in Belmont. A memorial service in her honor will be held in 2025.
