Thomas J. Lang of Cambridge passed away peacefully on Nov. 1, 2018 at BIDMC. Beloved husband of the late Martha C. Lang (McGee) with whom he shared 50 years. Loving father of John Lang and his wife Deborah of Andover, Patricia Lang Farnsworth and her husband William of Wellesley and Maryellen Lang Mulcahy and her husband George Jr. of Plymouth. He was a loving and devoted “Grampi” to his 5 grandchildren: Katie and Keven Mulcahy, Ellie and Sean Lang and Sarah Farnsworth. Brother of Bridie Newson of England and the late John Lang of Ireland. Also survived by many loving and cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and faith were the cornerstones of his life. He enjoyed home improvement projects, travelling, conversing on his porch with neighbors, especially spending time with family and friends. A devout and involved member of St. Peter Church, Cambridge and Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He was a kind, generous and thoughtful man and will be greatly missed. Funeral from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home 36 Trapelo Road Belmont on Monday Nov. 5 at 9:00 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 100 Concord Ave., Cambridge at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
