Margaret (DeFilippis) Martignone

Margaret Martignone (DeFilippis) at the age of 85 peacefully passed on January 31, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Aldo Martignone. Devoted mother of Lisa Raphael and her husband Bruce of Andover, Judy Deignan and her husband Jack of Belmont. Loving grandmother (Nina) of Timothy, William, Ashley, and the late Matthew. Margaret is the sister of Michelina D'Amore of Waltham, Virginia Daley of Framingham, Donald DeFilippis of Marlborough and the late Concetta Gabrielli of Waltham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret and her family were incredibly grateful for the compassionate care of the Good Shepherd Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider making a donation, in Margaret's memory to The Good Shepherd Hospice 90 Wells Ave, Newton, MA. 02459. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday Feb. 2 in Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 920 Trapelo Road, Waltham at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.
