Margaret N. Henehan, Esq. (Peg), 60, of Boston, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2018. Daughter of the late Thomas and Adele (Earley) Henehan, Peg was a graduate of Boston College and Suffolk University Law School. An attorney with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 30 years, Peg was Deputy General Counsel with the Department of Public Health and previously held the same position with the Department of Mental Health. Survivors include, Peg’s brother, William Henehan, of Arlington, MA; her Uncle and Aunt, Joseph and Marie Henehan, of Woburn, MA; Stephen and Christine (Ford) Rooney, and family, of Darien, CT.; and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her loving partner of two decades, Dr. Harry E. Ford, III, in 2011. A memorial service for Peg will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Noon, in Brown and Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peg’s memory may be made to the Ford-Henehan Endowed Grand Rounds Lecture at Massachusetts General Hospital (check made payable to Massachusetts General Hospital), c/o Aidan Parkinson, 125 Nashua Street, Suite 540, Boston, MA 02114.
