Kevin E. McCarthy of Arlington, October 25, 2018. Beloved son of the late John and Marion McCarthy. Loving father of Katie Lord and her husband Brad of Avon, CT and Maura McCarthy of West Roxbury. Devoted grandfather of Ryan and Connor Lord. Loving companion of Linda Murphy. Dear brother of John, Paul, Gerald and Joe McCarthy, Maryellen Blanchard, and the late Maryann McCarthy. Devoted friend of the late Susan McCarthy. Kevin was a wonderful father and friend and will be dearly missed. Visiting hours at Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Rd., Belmont, Monday Oct. 29, 4-8pm. Funeral Mass at St. John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave., Cambridge, Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 11am.  Relatives and friends kindly invited. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kevin's memory to a charity of your choice.
