Judy A. Cronin

July 11, 1958 ~ January 2, 2018 (age 59) 59 Years Old

Judy A. Cronin -Please remember our beloved sister, aunt, and friend who passed away suddenly at the turn of the New Year.  Judy was the daughter of the late William J. Cronin, Sr. and Sheila (Maher) Cronin.  She is survived by her longtime partner, David Waldron of Waltham, her two brothers, Bill (Elaine) of White House Station, NJ and Kevin (Mary Jane) of McLean, VA. She leaves a fanbase that includes several nieces (Jean Nehring (Ken) of Vienna, VA and Kathleen Cronin of San Francisco, CA), nephews (Dan Cronin (Christine) of Essex Fells, NJ and Patrick Cronin (Leigh Johnson) of Falls Church, VA), grandnieces (Madison and Morgan Cronin and Emma Nehring), grandnephews (Jack Nehring, Seamus, Gilbert, Porter and Harlan Cronin), other relatives and many devoted friends.

 

Born in Malden, MA, Judy attended St. Joseph’s School in Maplewood, Pope John XXIII

High School in Everett and Boston College, where her studies included a semester in Madrid, Spain. Judy graduated with the class of 1980 receiving a B.A. in Spanish. 

 

For most of her professional career, Judy was a well-known Cambridge realtor and president of the Dawson Cronin Realty. Quoting from a resolution passed by the Cambridge City Council last month expressing sadness at news of Judy’s death, “Judy will be sorely missed by all she touched and loved” and her “passing will leave a void in the lives of all… .”

 

A Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 10AM in Saint Peter’s Church, 100 Concord Avenue, Cambridge.  Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment CambridgeCemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) in Judy’s memory.
